Sharing my studies

I have signed up for a course to become a Certified Health Specialist through Trinity School of Natural Health.  My first course is called Living Chemistry. I am so excited about this topic that I already want to blog about the book I am required to read. Your Health...Your Choice by  Dr M. Ted Morter, JR., MA has started off great.  I will share some quotes that I think can help anyone who will apply these concepts to their life.  "The human body will function well for decades longer than we give it credit for if we provide it the proper exercise, serenity, diet, and environment."  This is so true but it has been proven in the lives of the people of Hunza who live hidden away in the Himalayas.  These people give their body every opportunity for optimum health. Consider this:
"Your body will always do everything it can to continue to function. It recognizes things that aren't right: areas that aren't demonstrating the perfection with which the body was created. Given the opportunity, the body will immediately start to repair injured or impaired areas. The critical stipulation is that it must be given the opportunity."
We make ourselves sick by the choices we make in our lifestyle.  Do you give your body more opportunities for wellness or do you prevent those opportunities by eating fast foods, processed foods, or do you smoke or rely on medications for fever, inflammation, pain and discomfort?  Start to consider these symptoms as warning signals that something is wrong. Its a sign that changes are needed. I like the example that Dr Morter gives:
"If you wear shoes that are two sizes too small, you will definitely get the impression that there is something wrong with your feet. You can take aspirin to relieve the pain, but that is hardly a solution to the problem. Pain is a protest by your body that it is being subjected to abuse. The problem that causes the pain stems from the conditions under which you are requiring your body to function."
I love that example!  Think about it. This is about how crazy it is when we tend to take every kind of medications to take care of our ills but rarely give our body the opportunity to heal itself.

Consider the Healthy Cell Concept to better understand how your body functions.
