My name is Amy Houston. I have been an independent AIM distributor since 1998. I am convinced that AIM offers superior nutritional and natural health products. These products may sound the same as others and they may look like others on the market but they are NOT the same. Let me help you better understand the quality behind AIM products. Feel free to drop me an email with questions or give me a call.Our bodies are not designed to run on chemicals and processed foods. We should all pay much more attention to what we are putting into our bodies. We especially need to watch the sugar, refined carbs and caffeine intake. Today it is even more difficult to eat clean since we don’t know if the food we are eating have been genetically modified (GMOs). Our food source can be easily contaminated with pesticides, herbicides, growth hormones, artificial colors, flavors, sweeteners and parasites. I could go on and on. This stuff is TOXIC. Your liver can only do so much to clean out all these unnecessary toxins. This toxic food source is slowly killing us. First we need to care about what we put into our mouth. Simply STOP eating processed and fast foods. Don’t rely on the old saying “Anything in moderation is okay”. What does “moderation” mean to you? Who knows how much poison is okay to eat. Pay attention to labels. Try to eat local organic produce when possible. Organic is not always a guarantee of purity but its a start. You can also ask if a product is residue free. You want to eat clean and pure foods. Since our soils are depleted of nutrients our food sources are also depleted of nutrients. Supplementation is vital these days. When we supplement with superior (residue-free) products like AIM BarleyLife, Leaf Greens or the entire Garden Trio, it is like putting premium fuel ino our body for high performance living.
Exercise is not optional. We need to move our body in order to keep our joints flexible, build our bones, burn calories, move fluids, keep our mind clear and keep our immune system functioning etc. I admit that this is my biggest struggle. I hate to “exercise”. I have to choose fun ways to move my body. I have a Needak rebounder (mini trampoline) that I use while watching TV. Even a walking motion on a rebounder burns more calories than actually walking and it exercises every cell in the body….plus its fun. Another fun exercise that I have recently discovered is hula hooping. I made my own large hula hoop out of scraps of 3/4″ gas piping (my husband works for a oil and propane company). Larger hula hoops are actually easy to use. You can now find weighted hula hoops in sports stores — hula hooping is the new craze. Give it a try. Its so much fun and you will strengthen your core. Don’t try the toy hoops, they are too small for adults. For added difficulty and much more sweat I Hula hoop on my rebounder. This is quite the workout! You should try it sometime. I prefer to dance, skate, ride horses, walk on the beach, play Wii, and hula hoop instead of “working out”. You don’t have to join a gym or buy expensive equipment. However, if you choose to buy equipment I recommend the Urban Rebounder for $89. This exercise is great for all ages. The Urban Rebounder kit includes a safety bar and a workout dvd. Do some research on this equipment. You will be impressed. NEVER buy an inexpensive mini trampoline at a store, unless its the Urban Rebounder. The inexpensive mini trampolines are not the same quality and you could hurt your joints.
Stress is a killer! It is a major contributor to poor health. One quick idea to reduce stress right now is to take a 30 second mini break and think about something WONDERFUL. Do this several times per day to help stop the stress cycle in your brain. It is also highly beneficial to take the focus off of ourselves and refocus on God and all the positives that we can find in our lives. Think happy thoughts. If you need some help just sing along…

If you crack a smile or better yet laugh out loud, you have broken the stress cycle even if only for a moment. The chemistry in your brain had to change in order to laugh. You allowed endorphines to flow and that is a good thing. A healthy mental attitude is a vital part of the Healthy Cell Concept. Keep singing, keep laughing, pray and contemplate the wonders of God and all of the many blessings in your life.
A little more about myself. I grew up in Southern California as the youngest of five. I went to high school in Mission Viejo and then attended College at Cal Poly in San Luis Obispo CA. My Bachelor’s Degree in Animal Science has actually been a huge help as I continue to study natural health and nutrition. I realize that the food industry puts much more precision into rationing the diets of livestock than into balancing the diets of humans. I find it strange that doctors are not required to take nutrition classes. They can choose it as an elective. Most doctors that I talk to never chose to take nutrition. I certainly hope this trend is changing. Good nutrition is key to living a healthy life. I was required to take more than one nutrition based classes to get my bachelors degree in Animal Science.
Each generation teaches the next generation how to eat and how to handle stress. As more conveniences have been introduced they too are shared and passed on. Every generation is getting sicker and sicker. Stop the cycle now. As a mom and a mimi (3 kids and 2 grandkids) I am so much more concerned about the food we eat, the water we drink and the toxins in our environment and now very concerned about GMOs. We live in southern New Hampshire where the moto is LIVE FREE OR DIE. Well we have the freedom to make healthy choices so we can live well. I hope you will educate yourself on genuine good and natural health. Let me help you brain storm some ideas. I can recommend many books, videos and audios to get you started.
